Our mobile swimming pool, Wundine II, is making a stop at Lake Tegernsee this spring. In Bad Wiessee, we had the opportunity to present our concept to the President of the Bavarian State Parliament, Ilse Aigner, Member of the Bavarian State Parliament (MdL), and the Bavarian Minister of Health, Judith Gerlach, Member of the Bavarian State Parliament (MdL).
With our mobile swimming pool, we bring swimming lessons directly to children – especially in regions where suitable swimming facilities or access to water are limited. Our mission is to give every child the opportunity to learn how to swim safely. Swimming is far more than just a sporting skill: it provides safety and can save lives in an emergency.
Ilse Aigner emphasized the importance of helping children overcome their fear of water at an early age. Drawing on her own experience in water rescue, she knows firsthand the difference that early, high-quality swimming education can make for children's safety.

Health Minister Judith Gerlach was also impressed by the concept. She highlighted that initiatives such as "Wundine on Wheels®" help children overcome their fear of water and gain greater confidence and safety. Especially in connection with the Bavarian physical activity program "BavariaMoves – Get Moving," the mobile swimming pool is an excellent way to combine exercise with health promotion in a meaningful and engaging way.
