Wund Wish Initiative

Since 2019, the Josef Wund Foundation has supported charitable organizations and community projects around the three spa locations of the Josef Wund Group in Euskirchen, Sinsheim, and Titisee-Neustadt through its WundWunsch Campaign. The nonprofit initiatives and projects are nominated and selected by employees of the local spas.

Over the past few years, beneficiaries have included numerous projects for children and young people, sports clubs, youth fire brigades, music associations, as well as organizations dedicated to healthcare and social care. The spa employees vote to determine the amount of funding each project receives. At each location, the first-place project is awarded €1,000, two additional organizations receive €750 each, and all remaining selected projects receive €500 each. The donations are presented annually in December.

As an architect and entrepreneur, the foundation's founder, Josef Wund, was responsible for the planning, construction, and successful operation of the three spas in Euskirchen, Sinsheim, and Titisee-Neustadt. Christoph Palm, Managing Director of the Josef Wund Foundation, emphasizes the importance of the employee initiative: “Paying attention to the needs of others is an essential foundation of a strong society. That is why, since 2022, we have honored employees as our WundWunsch Champions whose project proposals received the most votes. It is our way of saying thank you for their commitment and foresight.”
